We were disappointed with our experience. We don’t eat pork, and unfortunately we learned that many of the dishes are prepared with pork, including the chicken wings. Because of this, there were very limited options for us, and the food was not enjoyable or appetizing based on our dietary preferences. The service was also disappointing. Our food took a long time to arrive, and we noticed that several guests who arrived after us received their meals before we did. When we asked about the wait, we were told that everyone was receiving their food, but that didn’t match what we were observing. We understand that restaurants get busy, but clearer communication about ingredients and better attention to the order timing would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we were hoping for.

We arrived around 1:15 for our reservation on a Sunday afternoon and were seated at the bar. The restaurant was over half full. Watching the kitchen work was enjoyable. We hadn’t selected these seats on OpenTable but preferred this to sharing a larger table with other parties. Portions were sizable for price. Food came out at an appropriate yet quick pacing. Taste is exactly what you’d expect. What we really liked was how bite-able everything is: the tuna toast is buttery crunch and the tuna is compacted so you can bite and everything doesn’t fall apart, they preemptively provide extra sharing bowls for overflow of the ramen, and even the cucumber salad cuts were made so everything fits in your mouth in one bite. Service was good, though the restaurant filled up entirely by the end of our meal and we had to waive down our check. Worth noting we came to exhaust our Chase Sapphire $150 restaurant credit, but are glad we chose this restaurant to do so.

Majorly Disappointed after a Promising Start I really wanted to love Momo Fuku’s, and to be fair, the night started off on a high note. I thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour—they make a great Lychee Cosmo, and that subtle hint of cayenne is an absolute vibe. My absolute favorite item of the night was the Fried Fingerling potatoes! They were perfectly crispy, crunchy, and a genuinely nice change from your typical boring potato. But now for the tea... and by tea, I mean the noooooddddlllleeeesss: 🍜 **4/10 Smoked Pork Ramen** * **Extra salty:** It felt like drinking straight ocean water. * **Extra oily:** A thick slick of grease coated the entire bowl. * **Saturated noodles:** The noodles completely lost their texture and were totally waterlogged and mushy. * **The only saving grace:** The pork belly and the egg were the highlight of the dish, but they couldn't save the rest of the bowl. When a place specializes in noodles, you expect the ramen to be the star of the show. Instead, I left with a salt headache and a greasy film in my mouth. Great drinks and apps can't make up for a completely failed main course. Won't be back.

Fantastic noodle restaurant. My wife had Ramen with pork belly and I had green salad with pork belly. Lobster roll appetizer was on point. Chocolate torte dessert for me and soft serve vanilla ice cream with coffee whipped cream and brown sugar for her. Luxury eating at affordable prices in the East Village. Michelin recognized restaurant. Limited menu done exceptionally well.
